Sustainability and responsible design is on the forefront of our collective minds as architects. Across the globe we're constantly trying to build upon and enhance construction techniques that are good for our planet. HWA uses several techniques that permeate all of our designs to be kind to the environment:
Xeriscaping
Florida is notorious for droughts. HWA always recommends using native plants that will survive Florida's harsh tropical climate.

HWA specifies low-maintenance materials to prevent the end user from using resources from the environment to upkeep their home.
