The interior and exterior spaces of this home are highly adaptable, accommodating gatherings of over 100 guests while still offering more intimate areas suited for small groups of 10 or fewer. The entry garden, in particular, is designed as a quiet, contemplative space for only a few occupants at a time. Given the owners’ enthusiasm for entertaining, significant emphasis was placed on creating a variety of spatial scales to support different types of social interaction. The garage was designed to fit 12 cars comfortably.
