This custom home in Tampa’s Davis Islands neighborhood is a seemingly simple design style, and yet the massing is fairly complicated to ensure the scale is continually broken down to a human scale.  For this reason, this home was great fun to work on.  Great patience was taken to ensure each pavilion had its own character and charm.  This was achieved through the use of varied windows, header heights, trim details, and overall massing.  The undulating rooflines give a feeling of mystery as to how the interior relates to the exterior.
