Spanish hacienda
selected images

synopsis
The concept behind this residence was to capture the warmth, charm, and timeless character of a traditional Spanish hacienda while incorporating the flexibility and openness expected in contemporary living. From the street, the home presents itself in a classic and understated manner, establishing a strong architectural presence rooted in traditional design principles. As one moves through the residence, however, the architecture begins to reveal a more modern approach. The layout was carefully organized to maximize usable living space while minimizing unnecessary circulation areas. Rather than dedicating square footage to hallways and transitional spaces, the design focuses on creating large, comfortable rooms that connect naturally to one another. The result is a home that feels both spacious and inviting, with an effortless flow that supports everyday living as well as entertaining.
