The design is loosely inspired by Mid-Century Modern architecture, though adapted to accommodate a distinctly contemporary, two-story program. While traditional Mid-Century Modern homes are typically single-story, the vertical expansion of this residence inherently departs from that precedent, resulting in a reinterpretation of the style rather than a direct translation.
