The clients were drawn to the idea of merging traditional Spanish and Mediterranean architectural motifs with clean, contemporary lines. This synthesis is expressed through strong horizontal massing and extended roof overhangs that emphasize the linearity of the structure. These horizontal gestures subtly reference Streamline Moderne and Prairie-style influences, while elements such as the squared slate tile roof and elongated corbels remain grounded in a more traditional Spanish architectural vocabulary. The resulting interplay creates a distinctive and cohesive architectural identity unique to this home.
