The clients previously owned a home on this property, but it sustained extensive damage during Hurricane Milton. Having developed a strong attachment to the location, they chose to remain and rebuild rather than relocate. Their vision was to create a raised single-story residence that would satisfy current floodplain requirements while preserving the convenience and livability of one-level living.
