Daniel McIlveen is a licensed Professional Engineer with comprehensive expertise across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Alarm, and Fire Protection design. Over 13 years with Architectural Engineering Incorporated, he has developed creative, code-compliant solutions for a wide range of commercial building types, earning a reputation for systems that are efficient, reliable, and practical.

His mechanical designs cover central plant and distributed systems, chilled water and condensing water plants, and individual DX and VRF refrigerant systems. He routinely applies demand-controlled ventilation and variable-air-volume strategies to keep buildings comfortable while maintaining energy efficiency. On the electrical side, Daniel designs power systems optimized for voltage drop from service entrance to branch circuit, along with emergency and standby power backed by emergency and standby generators, and point-by-point lighting designs for outdoor sites.

Daniel holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an MBA from Saint Leo University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida. His focus is practical, reliable systems that meet each project’s specific requirements and hold up over time.
